New Technology, New work

So I got my new MacBook Pro 15" 2.4 GHz i5 320G Harddrive today! After days of scouring craigslist and ebay, I found this bargain NEW SEALED in the box, on none other than Facebook Marketplace. Crazy right?

I wanted to buy this MacBook Pro for several reasons:

1. IT'S NOT A BALL AND CHAIN: I was using my iMac 21.5" (3.06GHz Duo Core), and it was an amazing deal at the time, and it allowed me to quickly and efficiently work from home. But that's the thing: from HOME. For a centrovert like myself (i.e. Inbetween Introvert and Extrovert--I'm reading Networking for People Who Hate Networking by Devora Zack, hilarious and informative read), I can enjoy me-time and working in a stable position, but I regularly, I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! For a guy who complains about the transience of Los Angeles, I need to change my surroundings. Designers to be constantly stimulated visually, as inspiration can come from anywhere. Mixing up your environmental settings helps designers do research--that is see people, things, places (nouns?), behaviors, and pretty everything--since, as Paul Rand says, "Everything is Design. Everything!". Long story short, I am a mobile person.

2. The SIZE is great. It's smaller than the iMac (faster as well, specifically for the Graphics Card), but nimbler and more appropriate for a guy who likes to chill on a sofa, couch, bed, coffee table, and it still has a 15" screen which is plenty of real estate.

3. I AM SOCIAL: Bottom line is, that I don't like staying in my room all day holed up like a sociopath. This reason actually seems to be just like the first reason....so, yeah

3. IT LOOKS AWESOME: The MacBook Pro bottom line is piece of art.
Well, that the story and I'm sticking to it. Let's get to work!!
